Credit card processing sites such as Worldpay and Sage charge an annual fee as well as taking a percentage of each sale. I can't afford to pay this - it would mean I wouldn't make any money for ME research at all. I will investigate other possibilities (eg a personal Paypal account) for the future. However, you can always pay by direct bank transfer (BACS) if you do not wish to pay by cheque.
