New Cards - March 2018

I didn't do much in the way of card-making last year because of health and family issues, but this year I have been busy making cards with pots of flowers.



They come in a range of different colours, some of which are pictured below. Some of them say Happy Birthday but others are currently blank, and could be made to say Happy Anniversary or Thinking of You instead: these will all be £2.00.



I could also put on a more personal message, such as the To Mum with love one featured in the photo above, but this will cost a bit extra as it's a lot more time-consuming sticking individual letters.



I have already sold some of these before they made it to the site, so I think they will be popular! They will have their own page and order number soon, but if you would like to order any in the meanwhile please just email me at Cards4ME.blogspot@gmail.com and I will let you know which colours are currently available.

New Cards - Summer 2017

It's been a while since I've been able to post any new cards, but finally I have two more to show you.



This glittery cupcake birthday card is available in several different colours: please click here to see all the options. They will be £1.80 each.



And this duck birthday card is suitable for children over 3 years old - or for duck-loving adults! It will cost £2.00, and you can find more details about it here.

Hopefully I will have time to make - and post - some more new cards soon!

New Year Update

I've just added several new cards to the site: I made these last year but I wasn't up to posting them at the time. Firstly, the anniversary card below will cost £1.80 and you can find out more about it here.



This jazzy piano card is an addition to the other music cards I made last year. It will cost £1.80 and the details are here.



These dolphin birthday cards would be ideal for children, but are suitable for adults too. They will be £1.80 each and you can find them here.



And finally, I'm a little late for valentine's day this year, but if you want to buy these loving elephants in advance for next year, they will be £2.00 and you can find them here.



I'm also in the middle of reducing some of my older cards to make way for new stock, so do check out the bargain basement. It will take me a few weeks (or more probably months!) to finish tidying up the site, by which time I hope to have some more photo cards in stock, and to make sure everything else is up to date, so if you're looking for something and can't find it now, please come back again later in the year.

Christmas 2016

I normally make Christmas cards in the summer, but I didn't have the time this year. However, I have just started making some this week, so if you're quick you could order one or more of these for Christmas 2016:



They will be £2.00 each, and I'll be putting a page up for them shortly. Please do note that the design of the large stars may vary as I have several different ones. I don't think they will need to be posted as large letters, but you may need to check because the large stars do stand out a bit.

Please order by 1st December if you want any in time to send for Christmas this year!

A Quick Update - August 2016

Sorry it's been a while since my last update - I've been really busy lately and my health isn't great at the moment. However, finally I've had a chance to put up a page for the music cards I posted back in April - you can find them here.



My latest cards are the butterfly ones above - they don't have a page of their own yet, but one will be up shortly (I hope!). In the meanwhile, please do let me know if you want any - you can choose from red, turquoise, pink, or yellow. They will be £2.00 each. They are 3D cards, so if you want to send one through the post it will need to go as a large letter.

I've also slightly updated my cat and owl designs - you can find these here (they're underneath the dogs, so you'll need to scroll down). Hopefully I will be able to post some more new and updated cards soon.

Update - April 2016

Thanks to everyone who has bought cards over the last couple of months! Several designs have now sold out, and I will gradually be removing these from the site whenever I have a minute; I'll also be reducing a couple of my older designs and moving them to the bargain basement; while others will get a bit of a revamp.

Most of my photo cards are now either out of stock or very low in stock: I will be replenishing some of these, as well as making some new ones, but it may be a few months before I have them ready as I am working on other things at the moment.

I'm pleased to say I've now got a bit more storage space, so several new designs will be appearing soon. The Valentines, Easter, and Garden landscape cards I posted about in January now have their own pages (just click the links to find them). And I have two new designs ready: a monochrome music card for people who like classic black and white



and some multicoloured ones for those who prefer things to be a bit more flamboyant



They will have their own pages shortly, but if anyone wants any in the meanwhile, do feel free to email and ask.  The monochrome ones will be £1.60 and the colourful ones £1.80. If you would like one of the latter, please choose a card colour - at the moment I have red, yellow, dark green, light green, light blue, lilac, purple, and bright pink.

I'm also working on some other ideas and hope to have more news in the near future.

Good News ... And A Sneak Preview

I have a bit of good news, which is that I can now increase the amount I'm donating to Invest in ME! I started by donating 25% of the price of cards because I'd spent a lot of money on card-making materials and I needed to make at least some of that back. Every time I sold any cards, I'd deduct 75% of the money I received from my debit column, and every time I used one of my own cards, I'd deduct from my debit column the amount I'd have paid for it if I'd bought it elsewhere.

Now, although I've bought more materials over the years and am still in the red, the debit column is slowly going down (this is due partly to a couple of donations made specifically for me to buy more materials, so thanks for those!).

In future I'll be donating 50% of the price of cards to Invest in ME. So please keep buying - the more cards you buy, the more I'll be able to give towards ME research. I don't raise very much, but every little helps ... .



Meanwhile, the Big Sale continues - I still need to clear some of my older cards to make space for new ones - but it will finish at the end of February, so grab a bargain while you can! And I haven't been able to wait until the end of the sale to start making new cards, so this post contains a sneak preview of three which will be coming soon. They don't have their own pages on the site yet, and aren't included in the Big Sale, but I do have some available to order now so if you would like any of them please let me know.

The 4x4" Valentine card at the top of the post says With Love inside in black letters and will cost £1.40.

The A6 garden design above is blank so would be ideal as a Mother's or Father's day card, and will cost £2.00 (please note, butterfly and flower colours vary slightly from card to card, but will be some combination of red, orange, and yellow - if you mind which you get please ask and I'll see what I can do).

The A6 Easter card below says Happy Easter on the front in holographic gold letters and is blank inside: this will cost £1.80. The gold cross and white pearlescent panel are very shiny so this card catches and reflects the light: the photo doesn't do it justice.



Please order by the end of January if you would like cards to arrive in time for Valentine's day; by 15th February if you would like them in time for Mother's day (which this year is on 6th March); and by 7th March if you would like them in time for Easter (which this year is on 27th March). New Cards - July 2015

I've finally had the time to add some of my new cards to the site: here are a few of them, but please do follow the links to see them all.

I know it's July, but I've started making Christmas cards already! Update - April 2015

Card-making has been on hold for the last few months following my house move last year, but at last I've had a bit of time to start it up again. I've made a few more cards which I'll be adding to the site shortly - keep watching this space!

I'm also planning to have a big sale of old stock in the near future, as I've several new designs planned, but I don't have space to store any more cards. I'll be selling cards in packs for £10 per pack, with £5 from each pack going to Invest in ME. So if you are looking for a bargain, do come back and visit Cards4ME over the summer.

Finally, a quick update about this site - in the past I've had one "what's new?" post and one "seasonal" post and whenever I've wanted to post something new I've just deleted the old text and re-used the post. I don't think this is working as it means the new posts don't show up in akregators, and it's more work for me too, so from now on I'll just be adding new posts whenever I have any news. The dates may look a little odd - this is just because I want the most recent news to stay on the home page, above any new cards or other posts.
